The
first issue of an every-so-oftenly PDF magazine examining controversial
topics in and around roleplaying.
This issue, sex and RPGs are explored in a variety of articles
around their role in gaming, discomfort, transgender gaming,
magic and sex and a variety of other topics around this fascinating
topic.

- System
- Autopsy is entirely generic discussing matters
more to do with RPG theory and play than referring to any
specific system.
- Presentation
- Autopsy's main focus is the articles though art
is used to break up the presentation and to compliment the
articles appropriately.
- Keynotes
- Sex and roleplaying is a difficult topic and one that
is normally examined from behind a safe screen of humour.
Nonetheless sex and sexuality are a massive part of genre
fiction and it seems strange to dive headlong into violence
and to refuse to tackle or acknowledge sex. This issue also
tackles gender issues on a couple of topics, looking at
the perennial 'problem' of 'chicks in the hobby'.
- Design
Notes - As a writer I have gotten into a bit of
a niche of 'sex comedy' game writing. Macho Women With Guns
d20, Quintessential Temptress, Nymphology, Hentacle, there
are serious things I wanted to say on the topics raised
but it is difficult to do that at the same time as trying
to be funny. This issue covers the topics I've wanted to
cover for some time.

James
Desborough's style alone makes a product worth reading.
A very well written collection of articals on a subject that
often gets glossed over or outright ignored. An interesting
perspective on our hobby.
If you want advice on do's and don't for your gaming group,
transgender roleplaying tips, or just a thought provoking
read, you'll get it here.
